★★★★★

"Alex is the best, I would not have gotten through puppy mom life without him. He is patient and really cares about my pup's development. He updates me throughout the day and offers thoughtful reinforcement."

★★★★★

"Alex watched our large energetic German Shepherd/Husky mix for a whole week over Christmas. Every day we received photos of them at the park together. He clearly loves dogs of all sizes and is so attentive to their needs. 10/10 would recommend."

★★★★★

"My dog takes a while to warm up to most dog walkers but he immediately took to Alex! By the second walk Dexter completely trusted him. They've had a consistent schedule since and I get really cute photo updates. Would definitely recommend!"

Meet the team

The people behind the pack.

I'm Alexander, the owner. I've always had a deep love for dogs and wanted to create something different from the typical boarding facility — a real home, not a cage. By keeping our pack small, I get to know every dog personally, and my goal is for every pup to feel safe, comfortable, and excited to come back.

I'm Ivan, Alexander's fiancé and Co-Founder. I help run the day-to-day — from pickups and drop-offs to making sure every dog gets fresh air and plenty of play. We built Duke's together because we believe every dog deserves to feel like part of the family. Around here, they really are.

And then there's Duke — our big, lovable black Goldador and the reason all of this exists. He's the official greeter, the napping ambassador, and the soul of the whole operation. Every pup who comes to Duke's gets welcomed by him first.

Good questions

Still have a few
questions?

Is Duke's really cage-free?

Yes — completely. Dogs roam a real home and yard and play in a small group. No cages, no crates, no kennels.

How many dogs are there at a time?

10 to 12 dogs maximum, depending on size, temperament, and compatibility. Duke's stays small on purpose — smaller groups mean more attention, better supervision, and a calmer day for every dog.

What if my dog is nervous around other dogs?

Every dog is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Some nervous dogs thrive in our small-group environment — others may be better suited for one-on-one care. The meet & greet helps us figure that out together before any commitment is made.

What vaccines does my dog need?

Rabies, DHPP (Distemper/Parvo), and Bordetella — all current before their first day. If you're unsure about your dog's records, just ask when you reach out.

Do I get updates during the day?

Yes. You'll get photo updates so you can see how your dog's day is going — no wondering.

Let's meet your dog.
